Liza Minnelli

Liza Minnelli is an American actress, singer, and dancer. Minnelli was born on March 12, 1946, in Los Angeles, she is the daughter of actress and singer Judy Garland and director Vincente Minnelli. She made her professional stage debut in the 1963 Off-Broadway revival of Best Foot Forward and won a Tony Award for starring in Flora the Red Menace in 1965. Although she began her career in theatre, she is now known for a wide range of film and television roles.

She is probably best known for her role in 1972’s “Cabaret”. She played Sally Bowles, the most iconic role of her career. As a result of her performance, she won the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. Numerous other awards soon followed. Outside of film, Minnelli is an accomplished stage actor who has appeared in numerous high-profile musical productions. Outside of acting, Liza is a successful singer who has released several successful albums.
