C.C. H. Pounder
Among other excellent actresses in Hollywood is Carol Christine Hilaria Pounder, also known as C.C.H. Pounder. She is best known for her remarkable appearance and supporting roles in many films. Although she has not yet starred as a lead actress in a film, Pounder knows how to work her career the way she sees it fit.
Pounder was born in Georgetown, British Guyana. She grew up in London and moved to the United States in the early ‘70s. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College. Pounder first gained notoriety in her movie debut All That Jazz back in 1979. After some time, she ventured into TV acting and films which she also excelled. She had a steady career in both television and film and landed roles as a supporting, recurring, and starring actress for many television and film projects such as Miami Vice, Benny & Joon, Face/Off, The X-Files, Redemption: The Stan Tookie Williamss Story, The Cosby Show, End of Days. She is most recognized for her role in shows like The Shield and ER.
