Raven Symone
“That’s so Raven” was a hit television series back in the early 2000s, for which Raven Symone was known for and received many awards and recognition. Actress and singer Raven Symone first gained prominence as a child actress when she was part of The Cosby Show. As a toddler, she moved to New York, where she started her career in modeling. At the age of two, Raven was signed with Ford Models. She made appearances in ads for brands like Cool Whip, Jell-O, and Ritz Crackers. For her part in The Cosby Show, Raven immediately became a household name.
She launched a fruitful career in acting as an adult. She proceeded to be cast in a string of film and television projects and started her singing career when she turned 7 and signed with MCA Records. Missy Elliot is given credit for being Raven’s voice teacher. She then released her first album, Here’s to New Dreams, back in 1993.
