Robin Roberts

Robin Roberts is a popular American news anchor who first rose to prominence as a star basketball athlete. Later on, Williams found a passion for news broadcasting. She is best known for being the anchor of ABC’s Good Morning America. Born in Tuskegee, Robins grew up in Mississippi in a household that placed great importance on the values of religion, determination, and discipline. She graduated high school as the salutatorian of her class and then pursued a bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University. Roberts then followed her sister’s footsteps in pursuing a career in journalism.

She used her background in sports for her first work experience as a sports anchor. For the next few years, Roberts worked in various news networks in Georgia, Biloxi, and Nashville.
