PRINCE WILLIAM AND KATE MIDDLETON

Kate Middleton married Prince William ten years ago in front of the entire world at Westminster Abbey. The Alexander McQueen gown, the Gothic church, the horse-drawn carriages, and the big kiss on the Buckingham Palace balcony felt like a beautiful scene from a real-life fairy tale at the time. Fairy tales, of course, aren’t true—not even for the future King of England. In truth, Kate and William had a long road ahead of them before they married.

During a St. Andrews University design show, she strutted down the runway in a barely-there sheath dress. Prince William and Kate had been friends before this night, but witnessing her walk the catwalk changed his perception of her. Although they kept their privacy in Scotland, their romance was proven in 2004 when they were photographed skiing together. Today, the couple is happily building investments with their three children.
