Cookie Johnson and Magic Johnson are among the NBA’s most well-known couples. Magic’s tremendous basketball credits and captivating personality have won him widespread adoration, and we cannot emphasize his contribution to the Lakers’ dynasty.

The two met one evening at a campus bar. Cookie admitted that she was hesitant to give the college basketball star her phone number at first, worried that he wouldn’t call her back. She eventually caved in, and the couple went on their first date at a steakhouse. The on-again, off-again couple finally found their way back to each other and walked down the aisle in 1991, but the road to get there was paved with turmoil. They made it through, though. It hasn’t always been easy, but Magic has always known she will be her wife.
