Children love ballet, and when they are sent to ballet school, they make all kinds of effort to be good at it. But sometimes, they may get tired and frustrated, especially if no one at home can teach them some moves.

So, we can only assume that this father was trying to learn ballet so that he could be an example for his lovely kids. He even wears the dress, but not the shoes. Well, we can say that the kid loves it, and she would probably be boasting about her dad with other friends, giving him credit for trying.
