Lynda Carter
In more recent years, filmmakers and producers have spent plenty of investment money working on movie and TV projects revolving around superheroes and other comic book characters. After all, who wouldn’t want to see amazing reiterations of their favorite characters brought to the screen?
Even during childhood, Lynda Carter was already fairly experienced in the entertainment business. Along with appearing on TV when she was just five years old, she also had a stint as a singer. A few years later, she had the chance to star in a couple of shows and movies. Still, her most notable on-screen work would undoubtedly be as DC’s iconic heroine Wonder Woman. After a four-year run portraying the character on TV, Carter has since worked on other projects. One of her most recent gigs is as President Olivia Marsdin on the Supergirl series. Despite no longer portraying Wonder Woman, one can’t deny the actress has an impressive on-screen presence.
