BARBARA BACH

Barbara Bach began her modeling career during her late teens. She later dropped out of school to focus on her work as an actress and model. After modeling for nearly 10 years, she moved to Italy to marry an Italian businessman and subsequently appeared in a string of Italian movies, including Tarantola dal ventre nero and Il Cittadino si rubella.

Sadly, Bach and her husband separated, so she hired a moving company to return to the US, where she raised her kids and continued to act in Hollywood films. By the early 1980s, she tied the knot with Ringo Starr, formerly of The Beatles, and toured with him. Together, they created The Lotus Foundation, a charity that has many sub-charities. Now 74 years old, Bach is also known as a multilingual actress, having a working knowledge of French, Italian, and Spanish.
