ROBERT DE NIRO

Robert De Niro is a renowned film and stage actor who is considered one of cinema’s greatest actors, starring in classic films such as Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, and Goodfellas. Upon starting his acting career, he did not gain much exposure until he portrayed a baseball player in Bang the Drum Slowly. He then went on to develop a decades-long work partnership with director Martin Scorsese. In 1974, the actor earned his first Academy Award in Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather II.

From there, De Niro’s career took off to a huge degree. He garnered a string of acclaimed performances, and the role of Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver made him an icon. His phrase “You talkin’ to me” went on to become a famous line in American cinema.
