KATE JACKSON

Kate Jackson earned her degree at the University of Mississippi. However, halfway through her sophomore year, she relocated to New York to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She then began her professional acting career, appearing in a recurring role in Dark Shadows and one of the show’s spin-off movies, Night of Dark Shadows.

Jackson went on to star in various television movies, including The Rookies, from 1972 to 1976. Her next project made her a star when she bagged the role of Sabrina Duncan on Charlie’s Angels. She was nominated for Golden Globe Awards thrice and Emmy Awards twice while on the show. The actress then appeared in James at 15, for which she earned another Emmy nomination. In the 2000s, she has continued to act, starring primarily in guest roles on television. She also released a memoir in 2015.
