Denzel Washington

Along with the previously mentioned Michelle Pfeiffer, another star who has undoubtedly garnered plenty of praise through the years would be Denzel Washington. With his fascination for the arts, it’s no wonder he eventually graduated as a Journalism and Drama major. Despite that, acting wasn’t his first career choice; it took a while and some encouragement before he finally committed to it. Suffice to say, his final decision was worth it.

Starting as a stage actor, Washington got his big shot to fame with a role in the medical drama series St. Elsewhere. After some time, he finally made it to more film roles. Since then, the actor has starred in numerous movies, each one showcasing more of his amazing acting chops. With that said, some of these include titles such as The Hurricane, Training Day, Flight, and The Tragedy of Macbeth. To top it off, he now takes credit for being one of – if not – the greatest actors of the 21st century.
